Lotus of the Dark contemplates emergence and transformation through abstraction. The circular form becomes a vessel for stillness, while layers of dark blue tones evoke the slow unfolding of awareness from obscurity. Drawing on the Buddhist symbolism of the lotus rising unstained from the mud, the work suggests that illumination is not separate from darkness but born within it.
