The reflected image appears blurred and uncertain, with the layered shifts of brushwork carrying emotional fluctuations and the ebb and flow of thought. Through this work, I hope to evoke a contemplation of the self and self- perception—using the scene to convey emotion, and the image to express inner sentiment.
